Driving Directions Take I-5 north past Dunsmuir, turn east on highway 89,
turn north at summit, proceed several miles up to lodge.
Advantages Beautiful views of Mount Shasta especially at sunset.
Unusually long beginner runs along Marmot Ridge.
Enough glade and steep skiing to keep experts happy.

Driving Directions Take I-80 east to Norden, exit and drive slowly southwest,

Plenty of untracked powder right after storms, adequate grooming.
Friendly and unpretentious user population, good ski school.
